On a moonlit night in a dark forest two young women, two young men, and a band of supernatural spirits act out the ancient drama of falling in love-over and over again. The Duke and his bride prepare for their wedding, and a troupe of workingmen prepare to entertain us all. The results are some of the most delightful, funny, and enduring of Shakespeare’s work. Join us as we celebrate our 15th season by going BACK TO THE FOREST to meet up again with Puck, Oberon, Titania, the four young and impetuous lovers, and the beloved “Ass” Bottom and the other mechanicals.
Read over the study guide and e-mail a 100 word summary of the show and the reason for creating the play in Bollywood style.
The e-mail is due by October 1st.
