 Podcast Test:

Here is a new wrinkle we'll be playing with this year.  A podcast option for enhancing our classroom and plays.

Welcome to the wiki for Reeths-Puffer Theatre Arts. This is definitely a work in progress so bear with me while I learn how to best use this educational tool. Wikis are becoming more popular as teaching tools because students are able to publish their ideas and share them easily either during class or whenever the idea strikes. We can also extend the work in the classroom by being able to share our work on the WWW.

For example, if we are working on articulation in Theatre I, each student can find 5 exercises to improve articulation on the web. Then they can share the ideas on the Theatre I page and add comments wether the idea works well or not. Then the students can see all of the ideas collected and use the exercises that benefit them the most.

What's a wiki? I'm glad you asked. A wiki is an online document, a webpage, that can be edited right inside the web browser. What does that mean? It means that these webpages are shared by everyone in our classroom. It means that each of you have the priviledge and responsibility of making the classroom website. You can edit any of the pages in our website. Just make sure that you don't change someone else's work (other than basic spelling/grammar) without asking them.

Note to public-

This is a website that evolves under the care and efforts of an entire group of high school students misspellings and ''grammatical errors will most likely be present, but one of the goals of the site is to encourage students to take responsibility for authorship and to push themselves to constantly revise and edit these pages that are available for the public eye. I do view the site daily and will correct any incorrect information that I find, as well as make suggestions for editing, style, organization, and content. For the most part, I will rely on students to make those changes because this is effectively their website. If you do happen to spot problems of a more serious nature (before I do) please let me know immediately so I can right them.

Here is a trailer for the movie Clue.  Our fall play Any Number Can Die is also a spoof of the classic mystery.
